Recruitment of Category II Stipendiary Trainees in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre(BARC)

Applications are invited for Stipendiary Trainees (Category II) for Training in BARC, Mumbai and Tarapur:

Stipendiary Trainees: 212 Posts
Plant Operator: 57 Posts
Qualification: HSC (10+2) in Science stream with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate and should have Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects.

Laboratory: 15 Posts
Qualification:

• HSC in Science stream with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate and should have Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology subjects OR HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects)/SSC with a minimum 60 % marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Laboratory.
• The ITI/NCVT qualification should be either of the following :

1. ITI/NCVT of 2 years duration or
2. ITI of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.

Library Science: 06 Posts
Qualification: HSC in Science stream with a minimum 60 % marks in aggregate and should have Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects (Certificate course in Library Science and experience in Library will be preferred at the discretion of this Research Centre). OR As indicated in 2.4 to 2.14 in respect of Library trade certificate holder.

Mill Wright: 05 Posts
Machinist: 06 Posts
Machine Tool Maintenance: 01 Post
Welder: 15 Posts
Turner: 08 Posts
A/C Mechanic: 03 Posts

Draughtsman (Mechanical): 11 Posts
Qualification: HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Maths subjects)/SSC with a minimum 60 % marks in aggregate PLUS trade certificate in Chemical Plant Operator / Fitter / Mill Wright / Machinist/Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance / Welder / Turner / A/C Mechanic / Instrumentation / Electrical/Electronics/Draughtsman (Mechanical). The ITI/NCVT qualification should be either of the following :

• ITI/NCVT of 2 years duration OR
• ITI of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.
